Walker Caplan is a writer, editor, and comedian based in New York.

Walker’s plays have been developed and performed by Signature Theatre (VA), New York Musical Festival, Washington Ensemble Theatre, Yale University, and others. Walker’s writing has been published and recognized by Lit Hub, Joyland, Glimmer Train, The Adroit Journal, and Soft Punk; Walker was a Prose Instructor at Ellipsis Writing, recognized by YoungArts as an outstanding educator; and Walker is the Managing Editor of Joyland Magazine. And a copywriter.

Walker performs standup and improv comedy around New York (Union Hall, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, Club Cumming, other places), and contributes humor writing to Reductress.

As a performer, Walker has helped develop new dramatic and musical works at Yale School of Drama New Plays Lab, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Yale Playwrights Festival, and elsewhere.
